Mental Health Technician - PRN

PRN Mental Health Technician provides continuous patient care and supervision in a behavioral health setting, working under RN direction to support treatment goals and patient safety.

• Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team
• Observe and document changes in patient condition
• Communicate changes in patient's condition to the charge nurse
• Provide continuous patient care and role modeling
• Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse

Role involves applying therapeutic interventions, observing patient changes, documenting progress, and communicating with charge nurse. Focus on psychiatric patient care techniques within an inpatient behavioral health unit.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated, compassionate MHT with at least 1 year of psychiatric patient care experience, willing to work PRN hours and weekends. They should adhere to treatment plans, observe patient changes, and communicate effectively with the charge nurse.
