About this role
Support and manage Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions using IBM Sterling and/or Stonebranch. Configure scheduling, handle SFTP/FTP transfers, and apply secure transport and encryption standards while troubleshooting Windows/Linux environments and working in ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support File Transfer / Managed File Transfer platforms
- Configure and maintain scheduling platforms (triggers, calendars, schedules)
- Handle SFTP/FTP file upload and download utilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems
- Create and manage ServiceNow tickets for incident and request tracking
Technical Overview
The role administers MFT platforms and scheduling triggers/calendars/schedules, manages SFTP/FTP utilities, and documents architecture using UML. It also includes OS administration for Windows and Linux, cloud implementation on Azure or AWS, and security controls using PGP and TLS 1.2, with networking security via NSGs and firewalls and incident/request tracking in ServiceNow.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level MFT engineer who has hands-on experience supporting Managed File Transfer platforms, specifically IBM Sterling and/or Stonebranch. They can configure scheduling concepts (triggers, calendars, schedules), manage SFTP/FTP transfers, and implement security standards like PGP encryption and TLS 1.2. They also have strong Windows/Linux administration skills and experience ticketing in ServiceNow.
