About this role
DXC is seeking a Mining SME / Scrum lead to deliver a bespoke application using Agile/Scrum. The role focuses on shaping requirements, managing the product backlog, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring delivery of a high-quality solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of a bespoke application development project using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise business and functional requirements
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and a well-managed product backlog
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and track risks/dependencies with regular stakeholder updates
Technical Overview
This role requires hands-on experience with integrated production scheduling and mine-to-port supply systems, including production reporting. The candidate will translate complex mining business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, then coordinate delivery and deployment activities for a mission critical production app.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Mining SME / Scrum lead with at least 5 years of experience in mission critical production applications. They have hands-on experience with integrated production scheduling and strong experience using Mine to Port (MTP, MTM), including production reporting and extensive requirements gathering.
