About this role
Operate cranes and boom trucks safely up to 150 tons while completing inspections, minor repairs, and required assessments. Support site management by participating in safety programs and helping maintain environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate all types of cranes and boom trucks (up to 150 tons)
- Inspect and assist with inspection reports for cranes, boom trucks, and forklifts
- Assist with minor repairs and perform diagnostics as required
- Participate in safety programs (behavioral audits, JSA's, SOP's, Near Miss Reporting)
- Support environmental compliance and management policies
Technical Overview
Hands-on mobile crane operation focused on safe execution, equipment inspection, and maintenance. Includes preventative maintenance, diagnostics during a hands-on test, rigging procedures, load charts, cable reeling, and crane load testing, plus documentation-oriented safety programs (behavioral audits, JSA's, SOP's, Near Miss Reporting).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced Mobile Crane Operator with 2+ years operating large mobile cranes (150 ton and greater capacity) and working with boom trucks and forklifts. They have strong rigging procedures and load chart knowledge, plus hands-on maintenance and inspection experience including preventative maintenance, cable reeling, and crane load testing, with a proven safety-first mindset.
