About this role

Intel is seeking a Module Development Engineer to own equipment maintenance/repair execution and drive continuous improvement of processing and hardware performance. The role supports high-volume manufacturing process development, qualification, NPI integration, and excursion prevention systems while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Own execution of maintenance and repair activities for equipment and module components
Initiate and own continuous improvement for KPIs (safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, yield)
Own process development line items aligned to high volume process nodes and support technology transfer through training/audits
Provide expert technical support for complex issue resolution using comprehensive variable analysis
Own NPI integration and excursion prevention systems, including equipment install/conversion and qualification during factory ramps

Technical Overview

You will develop and optimize manufacturing processing techniques for high-volume process nodes, perform transfer of technology via installation audit and qualification outcomes, and lead equipment qualification during factory ramps. The work includes analyzing complex variables impacting complex issues and supporting manufacturing readiness and safety milestones including Safety Level 1.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Module Development Engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experienced owning equipment maintenance/repair and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield. They can support high-volume manufacturing process development, qualification, and NPI execution with the ability to work onsite at Intel Ronler Acres facilities in Hillsboro, OR.
