MSA & MCP Specialist

This role manages Medical Set-Aside (MSA) and Medical Cost Projection cases, ensuring deliverables are accurate and compliant with CMS guidelines. You will oversee workflows from intake through completion and coordinate with clients and internal teams for documentation and status updates.

• Manage MSA and Medical Cost Projection workflow from intake through completion
• Ensure MSP compliance with CMS guidelines
• Use CMS systems (WCMSA, MSPRP) for case processing and submissions
• Review medical records and support MSAs, Conditional Payments, and cost projections
• Perform quality checks and maintain accurate case documentation and logs

The scope is Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance work using CMS systems (WCMSA and MSPRP) and handling CMS correspondence. You will perform quality checks, organize medical records for treatment history and future care needs, and support preparation of MSAs, Conditional Payments, and cost projections.

The ideal candidate is a medical management professional (RN or CCM-certified) who has experience managing Medical Set-Aside (MSA) and Medical Cost Projection cases from intake through completion. They are detail-oriented with strong Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) and CMS-guideline compliance knowledge, and they can use CMS systems such as WCMSA and MSPRP for submission workflows. They communicate clearly with clients and ensure deliverables are accurate, defensible, and complete.
