The Multi-Craft Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to keep plant equipment safe and efficient. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing major mechanical and electrical systems, maintaining records in CMMS, and participating in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Technical Overview

This role spans mechanical and electrical disciplines, including troubleshooting and repairing motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes. It requires reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, working with electrical systems (480V, 3-phase, controls) and mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings), and maintaining CMMS documentation.

The ideal candidate is a Multi-Craft Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician with 3-5 years of manufacturing/industrial maintenance experience. They can perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes; and document work in CMMS while reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
