About this role
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician ensures plant electrical systems are maintained to NEC standards and performs repairs across multiple disciplines including mechanical, electronics, rotating equipment, HVAC, and instrumentation. The role emphasizes safe work practices, predictive/corrective maintenance, and collaborative support of site safety and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe maintenance tasks per supervisor instructions
- Maintain plant electrical systems to NEC standards
- Repair and calibrate process control instrumentation (4-20mA, 24vDC/120v AC/480VAC)
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and PI&D drawings
- Conduct predictive and corrective maintenance using vibration, thermography, and oil analysis
Technical Overview
This position focuses on electrical troubleshooting and maintenance aligned to NEC standards, working with 480VAC/120v AC/24vDC and 4-20mA instrumentation, including calibration and process control instrumentation installation. Responsibilities also include interpreting technical drawings (schematics, blueprints, PI&D), maintaining rotating equipment (including laser alignment), and using condition-monitoring methods like vibration, thermography, and oil analysis. Maintenance work is supported by SAP maintenance module and an ERP system, with MS Office computer skills.

The ideal candidate is a maintenance professional with 5+ years in the industrial or chemical industry, strong electrical and mechanical repair experience, and hands-on work with instrumentation such as 4-20mA systems. They can interpret schematics/blueprints/PI&D drawings, follow safety practices like lock out tag out and NFPA arc flash procedures, and perform predictive maintenance using vibration, thermography, and oil analysis.
