About this role

CACI is hiring a Network Administrator – Tier 2 to provide enterprise network support and coordinate with the Network Operations Center to resolve network issues. The role includes implementing approved network changes and upgrades, drafting SOPs, and performing incident analysis and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct approved network changes (VLAN, ACL, port assignment)
Perform IOS upgrades to routers and switches
Resolve network accessibility/system failures and perform incident analysis
Perform root cause analyses and problem resolutions
Review and implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

Technical Overview

This position focuses on enterprise routing, switching, and network security compliance. Responsibilities include VLAN and ACL changes, IOS upgrades, troubleshooting routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x), implementing STIGs, and administering KG-175 Series TACLANES and Cisco-ISE for secure network operations.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Tier 2 Network Administrator with in-depth experience supporting enterprise routing and switching, including VLAN/ACL and IOS upgrades. They have strong familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices, can perform root cause analysis for network incidents, and have hands-on knowledge of KG-175 Series TACLANES plus Cisco-ISE. They also meet required IAT II (Security+) and hold CCNATS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI poly.
