GRVTY is seeking a Tier II Network Administrator for an on-site Tampa, FL role supporting enterprise network break/fix, configurations, and upgrades. The position coordinates with the Network Operations Center and requires security compliance work including STIG review and implementation.

  • Conduct approved network changes (VLan, ACL, port assignment)
  • Perform IOS upgrades to routers and switches
  • Resolve systems failures and accessibility problems within the network
  • Review and implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Coordinate ticket acceptance and network ticket resolution

This role performs approved network changes including VLANs, ACLs, and port assignments, and executes IOS upgrades for routers and switches. The engineer must support routing and switching equipment upgrades, draft network SOPs, troubleshoot network accessibility failures, and implement security requirements using STIGs. Core technical requirements include routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x), Cisco and Juniper device familiarity, KG-175 Series TACLANES configuration/fault isolation/firmware upgrade expertise, and working knowledge of Cisco-ISE.

The ideal candidate is a Tier II Network Administrator with a CCNA and Security+ (IAT II) who has hands-on enterprise experience supporting routers and switches. They should be familiar with Cisco and Juniper, proficient in routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, and able to implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) with TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph eligibility.
