About this role

Remote Network Engineer responsible for deploying and maintaining client network infrastructures, including security hardening and on-call support, with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

Address escalated tickets for complex network issues
Maintain and secure client networks for stability and compliance
Coordinate with professional services on network design and implementation
Document network diagrams and support cases
Mentor junior engineers and participate in on-call rotation

Technical Overview

Hands-on experience with multiple vendor gear (Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Ubiquiti); cloud networking (Azure, AWS); strong emphasis on security, documentation, and client-facing communication.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on network engineer with 3+ years MSP experience, valid Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Fortinet FCP, proficient with Fortinet and Cisco gear, and capable of supporting cloud networking concepts in Azure and AWS while communicating effectively with clients.

Must-Have Skills

Minimum 3 years Network Engineering experience (preferably at an MSP)Cisco CCNA and/or CCNPor Fortinet FCP certification or equivalent working experience is required
