About this role

This role builds and maintains critical IT infrastructure with responsibility for high availability, scalability, and security. You will automate provisioning and operations, troubleshoot availability/performance issues, and collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy infrastructure solutions (servers, virtualization, storage)
Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware)
Automate provisioning, monitoring, and scaling with Terraform or Ansible
Troubleshoot issues impacting performance or availability
Implement security best practices including patch management and access controls

Technical Overview

The scope includes designing and deploying infrastructure for servers, virtualization, and storage across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware). Automation is expected using Terraform and/or Ansible, with ongoing security improvements via patch management and access controls, supported by infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer who can design, build, and maintain critical IT infrastructure with strong focus on high availability, scalability, and security. They have experience managing on-premises and cloud environments across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and VMware, and can automate provisioning, monitoring, and scaling using Terraform and/or Ansible. They also collaborate with DevOps/application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and maintain clear infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.
