Network Engineer II (Government) responsible for configuring and securing Cisco-based network infrastructure and managing servers, security tools, and virtualization across classified environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide network administration support
- Design/implement networks
- Tier 2/3 troubleshooting
- Coordinate with teams for security and performance
- Travel to sites as needed
Technical Overview
Cisco networking with OSPF/BGP, VLANs, 802.1Q; SD-WAN; ISE; FTD/Firepower; virtualization (VMware/Nutanix); Windows/Linux servers; security/hardening across government networks
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a government network engineer with 10+ years of experience, DoD IAT Level II, and TS/SCI with poly clearance, capable of designing and operating Cisco-based networks across classified environments.
