About this role
Amazon Web Services is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to help build and scale Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions. The role focuses on improving network stability, capacity management, and automation across multiple data center locations while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

- Clearly communicate project status and blockers to lead
- Scale support of several data center locations
- Assist with day to day capacity management
- Work with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution
- Build or enhance tools, develop best practices, refine operational procedures, and think proactively
Technical Overview
You will support and scale network systems for next-generation dedicated cloud regions within AWS Infrastructure Operations. Responsibilities include network implementation and troubleshooting, capacity management, building/enhancing tools, refining operational procedures, and automating network scaling with strong documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an autonomous, detail-oriented Network Infrastructure Engineer with significant experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-class networks and strong troubleshooting skills. They can scale network systems across multiple data center locations, manage capacity effectively, communicate project blockers clearly, and follow a proven documentation methodology, while also meeting strict US Top Secret clearance requirements with SCI eligibility and TS/SCI with polygraph.
