Network Install Technician for AWS Data Centers supporting Sparks, NV; installs large enterprise equipment, cabling, and rack infrastructure with emphasis on safety and data center standards.

Key Responsibilities

Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment
Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment
Ensuring safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation
Following hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities
Traveling within and outside of the regional work area

Technical Overview

Hands-on hardware installation in data centers; copper/fiber cabling, patching, rack installation; use of test equipment and compliance with safety standards

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a field-network technician with 2+ years in data center hardware and cabling, strong safety awareness, and willingness to travel between data centers for installation and maintenance.

Must-Have Skills
