Leads the revisions of the Southwest flight schedule by overseeing the production of high-quality inputs, managing constraints, and recommending solutions. Manages cross-functional inputs and executes complex, high-visibility schedule changes to optimize revenue and customer experience.

• Leads the revisions of Southwest flight schedule
• Leads gathering schedule change inputs from multiple departments
• Leads advanced execution of complex schedule changes including Demand Shaping and fleet deployment
• Coordinates runway construction projects for schedules
• Trains Senior Analysts and Analysts on schedule distribution functions

Focuses on advanced schedule editing, capacity changes, and tools/models for schedule optimization and simulation. Requires collaboration with external stakeholders (IATA, FAA, CBP) and production of on-demand reports.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level network planning professional with advanced airline scheduling experience, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a track record in managing post-publication capacity changes and complex schedule revisions. They should be adept at working with regulators and external partners (IATA/FAA/CBP) and capable of mentoring junior analysts while driving revenue impact.
