This role involves supporting and maintaining network infrastructure within Central Offices, including switching equipment, fiber and copper networks, and alarm systems, primarily in a hybrid work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain switching equipment
- Install and support fiber and copper networks
- Monitor switch alarm activity
- Maintain backup generators
- Work in physical Central Office environment
Technical Overview
The technical environment includes physical network hardware, fiber and copper cabling, alarm monitoring systems, and possibly the TIRKS system for circuit management.
