New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele Neuro

This New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) Tele Neuro position provides nursing care for assigned patients by matching patient needs with nurse competencies. The role includes completing required competencies during an introductory period and performing department-dependent life-support training and certification requirements.

• Provide nursing care for a group of patients based on matching needs with nurse competencies
• Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period
• Use computer software including electronic patient records
• Maintain required BLS certification requirements (ARC or AHA on hire; AHA within 60 days)
• Obtain/maintain department-required certifications such as ACLS/TNCC and PALS/ENPC

The role centers on clinical nursing documentation and care delivery using electronic patient records, alongside timely completion of required certifications. It requires Basic Life Support (BLS) at hire and may require ACLS/TNCC, PALS/ENPC, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Monitoring, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention based on department.

The ideal candidate is a new graduate Registered Nurse (RN) who has an accredited nursing degree and holds a current Nurse Permit. They can provide nursing care with minimal supervision, complete required position competencies, and are proficient with electronic patient records. They maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) (ARC or AHA) and can obtain AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days, plus department-required advanced certifications such as ACLS/TNCC and PALS/ENPC as needed.
