About this role
This role is an Embedded Software Engineering Manager responsible for leading the Simulation Framework effort and driving end-to-end delivery of embedded C++/Linux applications in an Agile environment. You will manage and develop a multidisciplinary team while ensuring standards, processes, and tools are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Simulation Framework effort and drive end-to-end software delivery for embedded C++/Linux applications
- Maintain and evolve simulation software libraries
- Define, design, code, test, integrate, and verify embedded simulation software using JIRA, Git, and Confluence
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team with technical coaching and performance feedback
- Plan and coordinate software development activities ensuring adherence to standards, processes, and tools
Technical Overview
The engineering scope includes embedded simulation software development using C++ and Linux, covering requirements analysis, design, coding/unit testing, integration, and verification. Work is performed in Agile with JIRA, Git, and Confluence, and includes maintaining and evolving simulation software libraries that model tactical components and operational environments.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an embedded software engineering leader who has managed end-to-end software delivery across the full software development lifecycle. They are hands-on with C++ and Linux in Agile environments and have led simulation framework or similar embedded simulation efforts using JIRA, Git, and Confluence.
