About this role
This PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant role supports occupational therapists by carrying out patients’ established plan of care using therapeutic modalities. The assistant completes documentation and communicates with the supervising therapist and team members on a timely basis.

Technical Overview
The technical scope is patient treatment support under supervision, including executing therapeutic modalities aligned to the established plan of care and producing documentation. It also requires compliance with BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider requirements per RQI program guidelines.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a COTA/Occupational Therapist Assistant graduate with Texas licensure (or eligibility to sit for the exam) and strong familiarity with therapy skills and competencies. They can document care accurately and communicate with the supervising occupational therapist and the care team on a timely basis.
