About this role
This PRN Occupational Therapist role provides evaluation and treatment for referred patients and serves as a clinical resource to occupational therapy staff. The OT also supports the multidisciplinary therapy team and supervises OT/COTA student education programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation and treatment of patients referred by medical staff
- Provide clinical expertise to the multidisciplinary therapy staff
- Serve as a resource for occupational therapy staff for clinical guidance, practice and ethics
- Provide supervision for OT/COTA student education programs
- Maintain required licensure and BLS Healthcare Provider training per RQI guidelines

The role is clinical rather than software-technical, focused on occupational therapy practice and documentation readiness. It includes compliance with BLS Healthcare Provider training per RQI program guidelines and the ability to use basic computer skills for clinical workflow.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Texas-licensed Occupational Therapist with graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. They are PRN-capable, able to provide patient evaluation and treatment, contribute clinical expertise to a multidisciplinary therapy team, and supervise OT/COTA student education programs, with BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider training completed per RQI guidelines.
