About this role
The Office and Parts Clerk provides administrative support to the maintenance function, with a focus on parts availability and fleet record accuracy. The role processes truck purchase orders, maintains inventory, produces productivity reports, and helps reconcile fleet-related financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Assures the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner.
- Maintain fleet records on inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units.
- Input fleet information into the computerized fleet management system daily.
- Prepare truck purchase orders for management approval, including assignment of general ledger codes; utilize ePro to process transactions.
- Reconciles Dossier financial data to Lawson general ledger.
Technical Overview
This is an operations admin role that relies on a computerized fleet management system for daily updates and uses ePro to process transactions. It also requires reconciliation of Dossier financial data to the Lawson general ledger and analysis of fleet operations reports.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of general office experience and related maintenance/trucking industry experience. They are comfortable maintaining fleet records, managing parts inventory, processing truck purchase orders in ePro, and reconciling Dossier financial data to the Lawson general ledger.
