About this role
The Operations Analyst provides analytical, budget, process, and systems support for a work unit. The role conducts investigations and analyses, builds reports, and presents findings and recommendations to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans and identify resources to meet deadlines
- Independently identify and resolve problems
- Conduct investigations and analyses using statistical, trend, and root cause analysis
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to management
- Administer programs and coordinate administrative support for the work unit
Technical Overview
The technical scope centers on statistical, trend, and root cause analysis using operating system tools, followed by report preparation and management presentations. The role also supports KPI tracking, operational scorecards, and financial/budget analysis (including O&M/Capital buckets and spend trends).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level analyst with 3+ years of experience in an analytical role supporting budgets, processes, and systems. They independently perform statistical, trend, and root cause analysis, build reports and scorecards for management, and present clear findings and recommendations.
