About this role
Amazon Logistics Operations Engineer will lead lifecycle execution of cross-functional projects for facility network infrastructure, including new builds, retrofits, and expansions. The role coordinates installation, qualifications, safety/quality targets, and clear communication of status and risks to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead lifecycle execution of cross-functional facility infrastructure and automated equipment projects
- Participate in engineering reviews and influence system architecture and facility processes
- Coordinate priorities, milestones, schedules, and dependencies with stakeholders and vendors
- Install and qualify equipment/systems (throughput and safety) and resolve technical deficiencies
- Run effective meetings and communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans
Technical Overview
The role focuses on systems and automated equipment design delivery, including equipment installation, throughput and safety qualifications, and technical specifications for facility processes. It includes engineering reviews and analysis of systems performance to remove bottlenecks and improve operational outcomes.
