Amazon is hiring an Operations Manager to lead a team of salaried and hourly employees in its WW Operations network. The role focuses on safety, quality, attendance, and performance while driving productivity improvements and ensuring on-time, accurate customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate salaried and hourly workforce
- Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
- Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources
Technical Overview
This is an operations leadership role centered on data-driven decision-making, forecast reviews, and analytical problem-solving. It involves leading large-scope projects and implementing continuous improvement using Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma where applicable.
