Operations Manager - Valentia

This Operations Manager role supervises a safe, high-performing operations team and ensures operations are reliable, compliant, and efficient. The position drives continuous improvement using operational metrics, leads workforce and performance management, and coordinates work documentation under Xcel Energy policies, labor agreements, and regulatory standards.

• Provide visible safety leadership and drive safety culture
• Evaluate and improve operational efficiency, reliability, and quality metrics
• Lead crew effectiveness and productivity with a continuous presence in the work environment
• Manage talent, workforce planning, and performance
• Oversee regulatory & compliance execution and documentation per policies, labor agreements, and regulatory standards

Non-technical operations management focused on safety leadership and operational excellence. Core scope includes performance evaluation via operational efficiency, reliability and quality metrics, enforcing data integrity and process adherence, and overseeing execution/documentation of compliant work with labor and regulatory requirements.
