Outside Sales Engineer – S&S at Ambient, responsible for driving HVAC sales in the Katy, TX region, providing technical design support, managing bids and quotes, and handling end-to-end sales processes onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, contractors, and end-users
- Identify and develop new opportunities
- Drive annual sales growth
- Provide technical expertise on system design and product selection
- Prepare detailed sales proposals and bids
Technical Overview
Role blends technical HVAC knowledge with sales, including system design, pre-sale and post-sale support, and formal proposals/submittals; extensive CRM and Windows usage required; onsite customer engagement
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mechanical engineering graduate with 3+ years of HVAC sales experience, strong pre/post-sale support skills, CRM proficiency, and a proven ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles in an onsite, industrial HVAC environment.
