About this role
Global Payments is hiring an Outside Sales Representative/Executive to sell Genius(R) and payment technology to small and mid-sized merchants. The role includes managing the full sales cycle, delivering consultative presentations, and maintaining accurate pipeline tracking in Atlas and Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Genius(R) and Global Payments solutions to small and mid-sized businesses
- Develop and manage a consistent pipeline through field prospecting and outreach
- Deliver consultative, value-based presentations in-person and virtually
- Collaborate with the District Manager to identify opportunities, set appointments, and close sales
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Atlas and Salesforce, including follow-ups and client communications
Technical Overview
The technical component is focused on selling payment technology and a Point of Sale platform rather than building software. You will position Genius(R), stay current on fintech/product updates, and use Atlas and Salesforce to track sales activity, call notes, and follow-ups.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an outside sales professional with proven B2B sales success, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or merchant services. They can manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through demos, negotiation, and closing. They are comfortable delivering consultative presentations and maintaining accurate pipeline tracking in Atlas and Salesforce.
