About this role
Manage P&C product management efforts for the California state Go-To-Market team. Drive analytics-led strategy by measuring state-specific KPIs, analyzing P&L and marketing investment impact, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to expand market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with large data sets to develop analytical insights and analyze state-specific P&L and marketing strategy
- Answers financial and customer-related questions using SAS, SQL, Tableau, R, etc.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and execute multi-year state strategy
- Engages with external regulators to bring strategic actions to market
- Ensures risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled per risk and compliance policies and procedures
Technical Overview
Uses analytics tools and programming/BI environments including SAS, SQL, Tableau, and R to analyze large datasets, build reports, and monitor business performance. Applies data to support P&L and marketing strategy decisions and to coordinate with underwriting (UW), pricing, and claims stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a P&C insurance product management leader who can drive state-focused Go-To-Market strategy using strong analytics and performance measurement. They have experience working with large datasets and using SAS, SQL, Tableau, and R to analyze state P&L, marketing investment impact, and KPI trends, while partnering cross-functionally with pricing, UW, and claims teams.
