PACS Analyst II responsible for IT systems support, imaging workflow optimization, and Epic Radiant related integrations in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- PACS administration & support
- Tier 2–3 PACS issue resolution
- Troubleshoot DICOM/HL7 interfaces
- Coordinate upgrades/patches with vendors
- DR planning & backups
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes PACS/RIS/Epic Radiant imaging environment, DICOM/HL7 interfaces, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and networking with vendor coordination.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a healthcare IT specialist with 4+ years of experience supporting PACS and imaging systems, proficient with DICOM/HL7, Epic Radiant, and imaging workflows.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or any other health related disciplineFour or more years of related information technology experienceStrong background in IT supportsystems administrationor healthcare ITExperience supporting PACS and medical imaging systemsWorking knowledge of DICOMHL7and imaging workflows from a technical perspectiveFamiliarity with Windows/Linux serversvirtualizationstorage systemsand networking conceptsExperience working with vendors and managing support tickets and SLAsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
