About this role
Storeroom Clerk at a Hormel Foods facility is responsible for processing receiving against POs, matching PO data in EAM/Oracle systems, and assisting with storeroom operations. The role includes inventory control, safety-related exchanges, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Match purchase orders with receiving into EAM Receiving
- Investigate discrepancies with PO/receiving records
- Enter requisitions and create POs in EAM Purchase order system
- Review Oracle Purchase Order daily reports and follow up
- Issue supplies / PPE exchanges
Technical Overview
Responsibilities revolve around ERP/purchasing systems (EAM and Oracle) and inventory control with barcode scanning and PPE management, plus standard office tools (Microsoft Office).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a dependable storeroom/warehouse worker with at least 1 year of experience, able to lift 50 lb, and proficient with purchasing and receiving systems (EAM and Oracle) and Microsoft Office.
