Part-Time Principal I&C Engineer for remote nuclear/energy projects. Focus on leading digital I&C upgrades, delivering precise engineering outputs, and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance while mentoring engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engineering deliverables (drawings, calculations, analyses)
- Develop engineering documents to exceed client and regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on industry codes and safety culture principles
- Drive QA and project excellence
- On-site field engagement and client communication
Technical Overview
Role centers on design studies, engineering calculations, and development of I&C deliverables for nuclear power plant upgrades. Requires knowledge of DCS platforms, 10 CFR 50.59, FAT/SAT, and on-site walkdowns.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level I&C engineer with 10+ years of nuclear/energy experience, deep expertise in digital I&C upgrades and DCS platforms, and the ability to obtain nuclear facility badge and unescorted access.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in related fieldMinimum of 10 years of relevant experienceExperience in engineering/design servicespower generationnuclear powerheavy industrial and government (DOE) projectsFor Nuclear positionsmust be able to get badged at a nuclear facility and obtain unescorted accessFor ENERCON Federal Services positionsmust be a US Citizen
