About this role
Part-time Strategic Support Associate, Service Desk provides frontline IT support, handling incidents and service requests to maintain operations in a financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, log, and manage incidents and service requests; diagnose and resolve hardware/software/network issues; triage and escalate; maintain 85% occupancy; update knowledge base
Technical Overview
Supports Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Office 365, desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices; uses a ticketing system and adheres to IT policies and security standards.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a student or recent IT intern with exposure to IT support and basic networking, comfortable handling end-user issues on Windows/Mac platforms, and delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced service desk.
Must-Have Skills
Enrolled in a 2 or 4 year program focused on information technologycomputer scienceor cybersecurityInternship experience in IT or Security strongly preferredExperience in IT support or computer networking strongly preferred1+ years broad experience working with a variety of different technology platformsinclusive of hardwaresoftwaredesktop and networksExperience supporting a wide variety of hardware and software platformsincluding: DesktopslaptopsprintersperipheralsWindows 10/11Mac OSActive DirectoryOffice 365 and mobile devices (iPhone/iPadAndroid) required
