About this role
Parts Counter is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and professional parts support to dealership service technicians and customers, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians and customers in identifying, selecting, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories
- Accurately interpret parts diagrams, manuals, and electronic catalogs
- Process parts orders, returns, and invoices in the DMS
- Maintain proper inventory levels through stocking, counting, and replenishment
- Receive, verify, and shelve incoming parts shipments
Technical Overview
Stack includes experience with CDK and Reynolds & Reynolds, electronic parts catalogs, and dealership management systems; emphasis on data entry and customer service.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate has prior automotive parts department experience, strong parts knowledge, and proficiency with dealership software like CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds, plus solid customer service and data-entry skills.
