About this role
Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to support and scale Circle's payroll and benefits operations across multiple jurisdictions in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end payroll processing across states/countries using Remote; Review timekeeping data and PTO for accuracy; Process payroll changes including hires, compensation updates, terminations, bonuses; Administer benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401(k)); Manage contractor lifecycle including SOWs and onboarding
Technical Overview
Uses payroll systems and HRIS tools; handles international payroll; relies on advanced spreadsheet skills for data validation and reporting; collaborates cross-functionally to improve processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-career payroll and benefits professional with 4+ years of experience, strong HRIS and payroll systems knowledge, and proven ability to manage multi-state payrolls with accuracy. They communicate clearly in English, handle confidential information discreetly, and thrive in a distributed, async environment.
