Remote payroll specialist responsible for processing payroll across departments, reconciling payroll transactions, and ensuring accurate tax filings and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll using Workday/ADP/Paychex/UltiPro
- Perform account reconciliations and general ledger entries
- Manage data entry for payroll, benefits, and employee records
- Generate reports on payroll expenses, deductions, taxes, and other data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Technical Overview
Uses payroll software such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, and UltiPro, plus accounting tools like QuickBooks and PeopleSoft; performs GL entries and reconciliations; generates payroll reports for internal review.
