About this role
PC Field Technician needed for a statewide IT deployment project across Florida, focused on deploying and validating Windows 10 endpoints. The role involves structured rollout and refresh work with heavy travel concentrated in Tampa and Orlando.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy laptops/desktops/endpoints at clinical and corporate sites
- Support pilot/full rollouts and post-deployment activities
- Remove and stage legacy equipment during refresh cycles
- Validate connectivity, placement, and functionality
- Document deployment activity/issues in ticketing systems and escalate as needed
Technical Overview
Deploy laptops, desktops, and endpoint devices; support pilot deployments, full rollouts, and post-deployment activities. Validate device connectivity, physical placement, and full functionality using Active Directory and Office 365, and document work in ticketing systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an intermediate IT desktop/field support professional with 2–5 years of hands-on PC deployment experience. They have deployed Windows 10 laptops/desktops, validated deployments using Active Directory and Office 365, and documented activities in ticketing systems with strong attention to quality assurance. Comfort with statewide travel and structured refresh/rollout projects in healthcare or regulated environments is key.
