About this role
WealthCounsel is hiring a People and Culture Specialist to support the full employee lifecycle, including payroll processing, recruiting, training, and culture-building. The role combines HR administration with engagement initiatives and requires strong accuracy and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full payroll cycle with flawless accuracy
- Maintain time/attendance and paid time off (PTO) accrual records
- Handle employee changes and ensure compliance with federal and multi state employment laws
- Run end-to-end recruitment including screening, reference checks, and background/drug screens
- Drive culture and engagement initiatives and oversee onboarding and continuous training
Technical Overview
This role uses HR and onboarding tooling including DocuSign and Salesforce as part of the digital onboarding workflow. It also requires operational knowledge of payroll processing, time/attendance/PTO accrual tracking, and compliance with federal and multi-state employment law requirements.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level people and culture professional experienced across payroll administration, employee onboarding, and full-cycle recruiting. They are detail-oriented, can handle multi-state employment law compliance, and can run digital onboarding using tools like DocuSign and Salesforce while supporting culture and engagement initiatives.
