About this role
Application Support Engineer providing production support for front/back office systems, managing incidents and changes in a production environment within a financial services context.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application support for systems used by front and back office functions across end-users, troubleshoot business issues, solve problems to diverse investment teams
- Ownership and accountability for operation, monitoring and integrity of the technology platform
- Available to be on-call for failure escalations on a rotation basis
- Ownership and participation in incident and problem management processes
- Interface with internal business and technology stakeholders to ensure stability and change adherence
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes SQL databases (MS SQL preferred), Linux environments, Autosys scheduling, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Strong emphasis on ITSM, incident response, and on-call readiness.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced application support engineer with 4+ years in ITSM, strong knowledge of AWS/Azure, SQL, Linux, and on-call incident management within the financial industry.
