About this role
Phlebotomy Supervisor oversees phlebotomy operations in the Temecula Valley Hospital lab, managing workflow, staffing, and training to meet TAT and productivity goals. They provide technical oversight, ensure compliance, and support process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs scheduling, planning, staffing, and monitoring of phlebotomy workflow to maintain TAT and productivity goals
- Coordinates orientation, trains, and evaluates competency of new employees
- Provides staff development through performance appraisals and corrective counseling
- Provides technical oversight and assists in process improvement for accurate test performance
- Follows established procedures to perform routine and STAT blood collection and specimen processing

Ideal Candidate
