About this role
Applications Engineer for Ethernet PHY/SoC products, providing pre-sales and post-sales engineering support with hardware/software/firmware bring-up, board layout reviews, and customer training. Travel to customer sites is expected; collaboration with hardware, software, and architecture teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities with customers
- Architectural analysis and low-level hardware/software debugging
- Board bring-up, schematic and layout reviews
- Training of customers and Field Applications Engineers
- Collaborate with internal teams (Hardware, Software, Architecture, Sales, Marketing) and travel as needed
Technical Overview
Expertise in Ethernet PHY, TSN, MACsec, PCIe, and SoC architectures; proficient in C, C++, Python, and Visual Basic; hands-on hardware bring-up, PCB schematic/layout review, and measurement tooling.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior hardware-software applications engineer with 8+ years of experience in Ethernet/SoC environments, strong in TSN, MACsec, PCIe, and board bring-up. Requires hands-on debugging skills, customer-facing experience, and ability to work across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
