About this role
Physical Therapy Assistant role supporting patients under the supervision and guidance of a physical therapist. The assistant implements assigned plan of care using therapeutic modalities and techniques, completes related documentation, and communicates with the supervising therapist and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out each assigned patient's established plan of care under PT guidance
- Utilize therapeutic modalities and techniques
- Complete documentation related to care provided
- Communicate with supervising physical therapist and team members timely
- Maintain required licensure and safety training compliance
Technical Overview
Clinical therapy support executing therapeutic modalities and techniques in alignment with established plans of care. Emphasis on accurate documentation, patient care execution, and compliance onboarding (BLS) according to RQI program guidelines.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Physical Therapy Assistant graduate from an accredited program with Texas licensure (or eligibility to sit for the exam). They can follow a physical therapist’s plan of care using therapeutic modalities and techniques, complete documentation, and communicate updates timely with the supervising therapist and team.
