PHYSICAL THERAPY ASST (PRN)

This PRN Physical Therapy Assistant role supports patients by carrying out each assigned plan of care under the supervision and guidance of a physical therapist. The assistant uses therapeutic modalities and techniques, documents care provided, and communicates with the supervising therapist and team members in a timely manner.

• Carry out each assigned patient's established plan of care under supervision
• Use therapeutic modalities and techniques
• Complete documentation related to care provided
• Communicate to supervising therapist and team members timely basis
• Maintain required licensure and BLS readiness (per RQI program guidelines)

Clinical scope includes executing the plan of care using therapeutic modalities and techniques, maintaining documentation standards, and coordinating communication. The role requires Texas licensure (or eligibility to sit for the exam) and BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider training per RQI program guidelines.

The ideal candidate is an entry-level Physical Therapy Assistant who is a graduate of an accredited program and is licensed by the State of Texas (or eligible to sit for the exam). They can assist patients using therapeutic modalities and techniques under a physical therapist’s supervision, complete timely care documentation, and hold BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider training per RQI program guidelines.
