About this role
The VA is seeking two Psychiatrists to provide psychiatric care within the Clinical Resource Hub, delivering telehealth and in-person services across spoke sites and hubs. Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders, medication management, psychotherapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment across outpatient, emergency, and other settings
- Medication management and psychotherapy
- Collaborate with BHIP/PACT and other staff
- Participate in program evaluation, research, and education
- Deliver telehealth/connected care and patient education
Technical Overview
Clinical responsibilities include telehealth delivery, emergency and outpatient psychiatry, and educational activities. Telehealth platforms and VA protocols are employed; research and program evaluation activities are encouraged.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a U.S. citizen psychiatrist with board-eligible/certified credentials in Psychiatry, accustomed to VA telehealth settings, and experienced working in interdisciplinary behavioral health teams. The candidate should be skilled in remote patient care, medical education, and research within a federal healthcare system.
