Plant Controller/Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

This role establishes and maintains the integrity of plant financial statements through internal controls while leading budgeting, month-end closing, and manufacturing cost management. The Plant Controller/Finance Manager partners with plant leadership and shared services on financial expectations, operating performance, and capital/working capital decisions.

• Lead plant financial reporting, budgeting, POR, and planning cycles
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements, reconciliations, and HFM reporting with internal controls
• Implement and enforce strong cost controls and hold departments accountable
• Oversee inventory and manufacturing cost systems including standard costing, variance analysis, and valuation
• Evaluate capital expenditures and manage trade working capital planning and day-to-day management

Focuses on manufacturing finance operations: financial reporting, reconciliations, HFM reporting, standard costing, inventory transaction accuracy, variance analysis, and valuation. Also manages month-end closing, capital expenditure evaluation, and trade working capital planning and risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate is a senior manufacturing finance professional with 8+ years of experience and a BS in Accounting or Finance. They have led plant financial reporting and budgeting, managed month-end closing, strengthened internal control environments, and owned cost and inventory processes including standard costing and variance analysis. They can guide capital expenditure decisions and manage trade working capital performance while partnering with plant leadership and finance stakeholders.
