About this role

Join a global team as a Platform Architect in Cluj-Napoca, working a hybrid schedule with at least three office days per week. You will shape platform architecture roadmaps, define platform solution designs, and support delivery with governance, risk assessments, and technical estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate platform architecture roadmaps
  • Provide technical and architectural guidance for scalable, secure, maintainable, performant solutions
  • Define and document platform solution designs (software components, APIs, data integration, infrastructure, cloud-native services)
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept initiatives
  • Support project delivery with architectural input, risk assessments, and technical estimates; contribute to standards and governance

Technical Overview

The role focuses on enterprise platform architecture across cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, containerd). You will apply infrastructure as code (Crossplane, Terraform), GitOps with ArgoCD, and CI/CD automation, with strong data architecture including data modelling, master data management, and real-time data processing.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Platform Architect with extensive experience designing enterprise platform architecture roadmaps and guiding scalable, secure, resilient solutions. They have strong hands-on expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with microservices and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, containerd), plus automation using CI/CD and GitOps via ArgoCD.
