This role seeks a hands-on Platform Architect to define and deliver modern platform architecture aligned to business and technology strategy for custody, wealth, and asset management. You will guide architecture through execution by partnering with product, engineering, operations, data, and business stakeholders to improve scalability, resiliency, security, and performance.

  • Define and evolve platform architecture strategy and technical governance across critical custody/wealth/asset management platforms
  • Partner with business and product stakeholders to improve platform design, data flow, interoperability, and operational efficiency
  • Drive engineering excellence through prototyping, design validation, code reviews, and implementation guidance
  • Enable API-first, event-driven architectures with robust integration patterns, CI/CD, testing, observability, reliability, and security-by-design
  • Architect and modernize applications on Azure and/or AWS using cloud-native services, containerization, and infrastructure automation

You will build architecture strategy, target-state designs, and modernization roadmaps, then support delivery with API-first and event-driven architectures. The role emphasizes CI/CD, testing, observability, reliability, security-by-design, and performance optimization, including designing and deploying cloud-native platforms on Azure and/or Amazon Web Services with containerization and infrastructure automation.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform architect with strong experience defining and evolving platform architecture strategy and technical governance across complex enterprise systems. They have demonstrable credibility delivering API-first, event-driven architectures with CI/CD, observability, reliability, and security-by-design. They are comfortable architecting and modernizing legacy platforms on Azure and/or Amazon Web Services in a regulated financial services environment.
