About this role
Platform Engineer role supporting and evolving a modern Data Science platform. You will build, manage, and secure cloud-based infrastructure enabling Data Science and AI/ML teams to operate at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Data Science infrastructure operations
- Design, build, and deploy AWS environments using automated CI/CD pipelines
- Manage and scale secure cloud environments
- Implement and improve the image management lifecycle process
- Provide on-call support and conduct root cause analysis
Technical Overview
Own operations and automation for Data Science infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. Build AWS environments with CI/CD pipelines (including Azure DevOps exposure), manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and support data services such as Athena, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Platform Engineer with strong Amazon Web Services experience supporting a Data Science platform. They have built and maintained AWS environments using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, along with scripting in Python and supporting data services like Athena, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
