About this role
The State Policy Specialist owns market-level policy operations across a portfolio of Aledade markets. The role serves as the subject matter expert on policy for primary care sustainability and drives advocacy and legislative change through stakeholder engagement and state-specific deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Be expert on policy knowledge at the market level
- Coordinate external stakeholders to align advocacy priorities
- Create and execute state-specific products including webinars and advocacy campaigns
- Support broader federal and state efforts with implications for primary care
- Lead virtual and potentially in-person physician engagement events
Technical Overview
This is a policy operations and advocacy role rather than a technical IT role. The work includes creating and executing state-specific products (presentations, webinars, written pieces) and coordinating policy workgroups and government stakeholder activities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a policy professional with 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field (public policy, public health, business, or similar). They are a proactive subject matter expert who can coordinate advocacy and market policy operations, engage senior stakeholders (legislators, agencies, payers), and produce state-specific policy deliverables like webinars, presentations, and campaigns.
