About this role

Senior SoC design-focused role driving power/performance tooling and methodologies to optimize energy efficiency and performance for AMD SoCs. You will partner with software/CAD teams to define configurations and targets, and lead end-to-end flow development.

Key Responsibilities

Advance stateoftheart power efficiency and diagnostic methodologies to define SoC and platform specs
Drive endtoend power/performance tools and flow development across software and PPA methodologies
Partner with business units to define product configurations, capabilities, and targets relevant to power and performance domains
Lead performance profiling and power-constrained optimization using modeling results across development cycles
Track simulation and/or emulation results and correlate silicon behavior with model predictions

Technical Overview

Role emphasizes presilicon tool development, power/thermal analyses, and end-to-end PPA methodologies across CPU/GPU hardware. Strong software background (Python) and cross-team influence are essential.
